Personality: Xappan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Xappan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Emeny alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Emeny was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Jarana was born with her father's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
