History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is typically in her Painter uniform. Her golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Shamil was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Shamil was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shamil's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born in the south. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Charles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
