He found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her head has been shaved. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.
