Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Korfel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Tordek studied abroad. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
