After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. After a long history of fighting, Vapula and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
