History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bowyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bowyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zephan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zephan. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
