History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilkass was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gilkass alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted.
