He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His crest is rusty and very short. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Spice Merchant profession.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Ralf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants and is in decent physical shape. She has no hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A true patriot, Hadwisa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a servant and was forced into it by her family
