Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Fortune-teller business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to settle down with his crush
