History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Birel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her painting dream.
