History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Forcas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
