Maiathah Goltorah, Female Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Maiathah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maiathah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Assassin. She tends to her Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a assassin and was forced into it by her family
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Mentor, Job, Family. Occupation: Assassin
Voice: Adds syll-ab-les for em-pha-sis

Silgre Huckabee, Female Half-Orc [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a white vest and prefers blue and brown shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is white and very short. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Silgre was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Silgre decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like her out of the picture
Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Poor, Adventurer, Criminal record, Religious. Occupation: Animal Trainer
Voice: pre-pubescent
