When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Elaim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
