History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Through the years after Akta was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Akta's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her son

Description: A 5'2" eastern woman, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her red hair is cut short. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Hatae abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and further expansion of business
