When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
