History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Chay took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Chay never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is afraid of men and trembles around them

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Mantus was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mantus's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.
