History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Elegant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
