Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south to a Glassblower, Ahvain learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents enrolled him in a Ranger school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Glassblower for hire.

Description: Standing 6'7", this woman dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her scarlet crest is knotted and matted. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Galinndan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Galinndan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
