History: Valanthe was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nuraval was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to unite with his brother

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
