Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vezera does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Emen was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Farmer. After a long history of fighting, Emen and her spouse have recently divorced.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mayor.
