History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a Bellfounder soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
