He carries with him a set of falchions on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

His hair is cut close to his head. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barber who has hired her part-time. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fistula grew up listening to her father's many stories. Fistula was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Barber. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Tippletoe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Tippletoe and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
