Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
