History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Grigi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Junk Dealer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
