History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Lucan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lucan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lucan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
