History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Sarai was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
