History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Weaver. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
