History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 71. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Decarabia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
