Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the north to a Engraver, Hobart learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
