Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her hair is brown and very short. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a Weaver, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Guard, and she later adopted a second son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
