Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mord was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Mord abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.
