History: Shax was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Performer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
