History: Valorean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
