Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Burana's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Burana was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Born in the south to a Fortune-teller, Shax learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Bather, but she got bored and became a Fortune-teller. She has worked as a Fortune-teller like her mother before her.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to be a bather again

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are silver and beady.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
