History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Barkeep, and she later adopted a second son.

She has a long blonde ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Katherine is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
