History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Saphara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was a Spy, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
