He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Xappan hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Xappan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is mildly Dragonborn supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born into a rich family. Tana was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
