Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His golden hair is singed and shortened. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. She has wavy brown hair. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. A true patriot, Jelenneth would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born in the east. Her childhood dream was to be a Glassblower, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gifted from a young age, Drifting studied abroad. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a green collared shirt and brown pants. He accessorizes with a pastel scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His scarlet crest is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are likewise gold.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to settle down with his crush
