History: Kilvar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Baelitae was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Baelitae decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
