History: Robert was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born in the west. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: Beatrice is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Barber mother left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Morgran's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
