History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Sailor mother left him crippled. During his travels, Damien and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Damien discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Damien fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Herleva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
