History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Valida reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ralf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
