Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hamil grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Direcris is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born in the west. Direcris was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
