History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Personality: Ownka is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hoshû grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has moderate length blue hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.
