History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Hagren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
