Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Salanop does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a greataxe on his belt. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He uses divination through singing.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Xappan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Akra was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Herbalist profession.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and many brigands want him driven away
