History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Jheri hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Jheri was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jheri's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Jheri was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
