History: Chaedi was born with her father's beautiful face. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. During her travels, Chaedi and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Chaedi discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Chaedi fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Xanaphia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Grai is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
