He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears dull white sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed glaive, just in case. Her tied-back hair is white. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Volen was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Volen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Fletcher. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north to a Fletcher, Elegant learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Fletcher. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Oppleby learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Cook mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
