History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He has achieved small success as a Roofer.
